Well it is 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night and all of our team members are tucked into their beds (well they are suppose to be), with all of their luggage, great hearts and spirits. It was a long trip but great connections and short layovers in DC and Brussels. Thanks for your prayers during this time of travel. Now the fun starts tomorrow. We have already seen Judy Mbugua and Dorcus plus other board members from HomeCare Fellowship in Kenya. They are here for the big celebration tomorrow on the official start of HCF Burundi. We are so excited with lots of celebrating tomorrow with greetings, speeches, local dancers, the list goes on and on, with Carrie and Micki singing a song, plus maybe some of the other musical folks will join in with us.
Peace and the ladies send their love back to all of you for sending us over to be with them and to share in this time with them and getting to know the new ladies better and to encourage them as they do the same for us.
Several of our ladies told me tonight that they are so excited to finally be in Africa, their dreams and now to join in with what God is doing here in Burundi. I am sure there will lots to share in the next 9 days.
